Title: Analysis of Benchmarking of American Universities for the Implementation of Industry 4.0 in Brazilian Universities

Theme: Development of green startups (Greentechs)

Abstract: This project aims to identify the technologies associated with the Industry 4.0 phenomenon. Specifically, it focuses on conducting a benchmarking study of American universities offering industrial engineering courses and examining the disciplines that incorporate enabling technologies related to Industry 4.0. The goal is to gather valuable application references for Brazilian universities. The method employed involves classifying the top universities in the field and then filtering the disciplines that are closely aligned with these enabling technologies. As a result, an electronic sheet is generated, which comprises 42 disciplines primarily centered around Machine Learning, Simulation, Additive Manufacturing, and Big Data. This sheet provides information such as credits, course content, and universities where these technologies have been initially applied, facilitating a comprehensive analysis.
