Title: Proposal for systematization of initiatives for implementing a diverse workplace in companies
Theme: Diversity and Inclusion in Companies
Goal: Developing a roadmap of initiatives to guide and facilitate the establishment of diverse and inclusive environments within companies.
Abstract: It is noted that diversity brings numerous benefits and positive impacts to companies. However, the corporate context reveals a lack of representation of marginalized groups in their teams. This contrast between the advantages of diverse workplaces and the absence of effective diversity in organizations is evident and calls for in-depth investigation. Therefore, this research project aims to investigate the success factors of companies that are leaders in diversity, as well as the challenges faced by those struggling to create a diverse environment. Based on the results obtained, a best practices guide will be developed to facilitate the implementation and maintenance of diverse environments within companies, with the goal of harnessing the advantages of diversity in organizational performance and promoting the representation of marginalized groups from a heterogeneous society in the labor market.
