A digital culture assessment tool proposal: application in the health sector

Goal: .To propose an instrument for evaluating the digital organizational culture. Abstract: Digital innovation has been identified as one of the main sources of resources for the health sector. However, researchers observed resistance to the implementation of digital technologies in this sector, but without taking into account some essential aspects that support corporations, such as organizational culture. In the scientific literature, there are no instruments for evaluating digital organizational culture to measure how digital an organization’s culture is or whether its culture has the readiness necessary to develop digital transformation projects. The study proposed an instrument for evaluating the digital organizational culture with 33 questions classified in eight building blocks of digital culture: Vision, Internal Environment, People, Innovation, Technology, Resources, Stakeholders, and Ethics.
