The technologies needed for new business models in the context of the transition towards Circular Economy
Goal:The main objective of the research is to identify the technologies needed for new business models , from the development and implementation of a digital and sustainable environment, and to leverage the circular economy development.
Abstract: In order to approach the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nation, a economic model named Circular Economy (CE) has been developed to replace our thrownaway economy. Within the CE paradigm, new business models are developed in a sustainable way. Besides, cutting-edge technologies of Industry 4.0 such as internet of things (IoT), robotics have a lot of potentials to leverage the CE development. Thus, this research aims to identify the technologies needed for new business models regarding the transition towards CE by means of a systematic literature review.
